Mr. Veronza Bowers was accused and convicted of murder; he has steadfastly denied these charges.
Mr. Bowers is one of the longest held political prisoners in the USA. Mr. Bowers has not had an incident report in over 25 years. The parole commission has granted him his freedom...Yet the system refuses to set this innocent man free.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Mr. Veronza Bowers. I have personally witnessed the care and concern Mr. Veronza Bowers has shown young men entering prison for the first time; young men who have no direction in life. Mr. Veronza Bowers has taken many of these young men under his wings and have helped them by being a mentor, role model, teacher, father figure, and spiritual healer. He has on many occasions worked with the staff to bring peace to what could have been a violent situation.
